The Gulfstream line’s one of the most popular among pastors on this list. Facing criticism over this, Joyce replied that “there’s no need for us to apologize for being blessed.”Īpparently that “blessing” wasn’t sufficient to serve the Lord, however, and so a few years (and a Senate investigation into her ministry’s “tax-exempt” status later) she traded up to a Gulfstream IV.īlessing or no, the Gulfstream IV is a top flight private jet, with a crew of two, room for nineteen passengers, and a top cruising speed of Mach 0.85. Joyce took to the skies in a Bombardier Challenger 600. Joyce Meyer: Gulfstream IV History A2Z Joyce Meyer If you’re a baseball fan, you’ll recognize the name Thurman Munson as the 1970s Yankees catcher and captain who tragically died while flying his personal plane, which was a Cessna 500. Among the planes on this list it’s definitely one of the smallest ones, with a crew of two and room for five passengers, with a top speed of “only” Mach 0.705. The Cessna 500 dates way back to the beginning of the 1970s. Jerry Savelle: Cessna 500 Editorial Team Cessna 500 Citation IĪs someone who has been on the evangelist circuit longer than many of the names on this list, it seems only fitting that Jerry Savelle should also have one of the older planes listed here as well. Introduced in 2001, it features a swept wing design, has room for 20 passengers, and it is a very quiet private jet to fly aboard. The two share a bond over the issue, asserting in 2016 that their need to fly on private jets stemmed from commercial planes being full of “demons.”īut hey, the Falcon 7X is one of the best private jets out there. The jet this time? A Dassault Falcon 7X.Ĭopeland’s fellow mega pastor, Jesse Duplantis, can tell him all about it, owning one himself. Jesse Duplantis: Dassault Falcon 7X Editorial Team Jesse Duplantisĭespite that “trinity” of luxury private jets, Copeland asked his followers in 2015 for a fourth private jet, this one valued at $54 million according to The Washington Post. The latter caused a moment of awkwardness for Copeland when, in a sermon in 2016 in which he invited members to “claim” things in the name of God, an audience member shouted, “I claim your $25 million Citation X in the name of Jesus!” 2. ![]() And that’s not all – he also owns a Citation 550 and Citation X. The Gulfstream V’s capable of Mach 0.885 and can comfortably carry more than a dozen passengers. Whatever your personal views on Jesus, Christianity, and Religion, there is no denying that the Jesus of the Bible is a figure who lives meagerly and repeatedly opposes the rich and powerful.Īt least God has good taste in private jets. There is something undeniably odd about the combination of pastors and private jets. In 2015, John Oliver ran a story on Last Week Tonight about popular Evangelists and their exorbitant spending, with private jets being one of his focuses. These “Men of God” have a different idea. In Les Misérables, Victor Hugo imagines his Bishop of Digne as a consummate “Man of God.” He exemplifies kindness, compassion, grace, and forgiveness, and is so charitable he foregoes his own priestly carriage to spend that money on the needy in the name of God and goodwill toward men. ![]() Paul and Jan Crouch: Bombardier BD-700-1A10

Starlink’s coverage map suggests all three territories will have access in the first quarter of 2023 This week users of the Starlink’s ‘RV’ internet service in Iqaluit reported that their dishes were picking up a signal. This map cropped to Northern Canada depicts broadband Internet coverage. The long-exposure image of a trail of a SpaceX’s Starlink satellites passing over Uruguay on Feb. My slings and arrows aimed at the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission last week opened a can of fibre optic worms. As expected, the high costs of our Internet can be traced to the CRTC, which has historically let Northerners down, if not all rural Canadians. When Covid-19 hit and schools closed, the obvious option was the first one the schools and territorial education departments turned to – online education. The problem is not all homes have enough computers and enough Internet access to handle a distance education load on top of normal web use. Kirby Marshall’s company Global Storm IT specializes in managing and installing networks, hardware and software. NNSL Media recently did a story on the company, go here. I asked Marshall how many laptops he could get his hands on. The global supply chain is broken, he said, so we won’t get as much as we would like.Īsked about weak Internet in the communities, Marshall, raised in Fort Smith, Fort Providence and Yellowknife, said Global Storm could set up a high-speed network in any NWT community in about a day. He estimated a $50,000 installation cost (give or take), $5,000 monthly for maintenance and bandwidth from the satellite service. The bandwidth would be managed so the only use could be for education, school curriculum. Next, I spoke with Aaron Jaque of CasCom Remote Communication & IT Solutions. CasCom recently bought Northern Communications and Navigation Systems Ltd. and does remote satellite communications for exploration and mine sites. Jaque said such a high-speed wireless system would be routine to install. Aside from two different specific needs, a community was no different than a mine site in terms of putting in Internet. SSi Micro is, like Global Storm and CasCom, a Northern business success story, only bigger, born in Fort Providence along with its founder and CEO, Jeff Philipp. Stefanie Philipp is SSi’s CFO and they’ve been married 31 years. You can read their remarkable story here. Īfter a two-hour phone call with Jeff Philipp, my head was spinning with 40 years of SSi history fighting competitors, governments and regulators, winning some and losing some, culminating with SSi as a multi-million dollar tech company delivering internet and mobile services across Canada (including all 25 Nunavut communities) and overseas. Philipp says internet service has been bungled in the North by both the CRTC and Northwestel, by which he means Bell. There’s a better way, he insists.Ībout the same time, Tom Zubko contacted me. He’s owner of New North Networks in Inuvik. Here’s what Zubko told me his company can provide the people of Inuvik: The airport is named after his father – Mike Zubko Airport. I offer a package of 1 terabyte download for $178. The Northwestel cost for a Terabyte in Yellowknife (with overages) would have cost $990. Zubko is not a fan of either Bell Canada/Northwestel or the CRTC. ![]() Hard to understand why Northerners pay so much more for an essential service or what the solution to the present crisis should be. We are at war with COVID and communication is key to keeping social distancing, families talking, children learning, government running, and rebuilding our economy. The companies mentioned here should be included in the conversation, not left out. They are a valuable territorial technical resource. Time for me to reach out to Northwestel, a company serving three masters – Bell Canada, CRTC and Northern web users. The big question is will the overage charges go back on. And it would be nice to hear from the CRTC head Ian Scott to find out what he’s going to do to fix this mess. In the meantime, Northerners who give a damn about the cost and efficiency of Northern Internet service should make the tiniest effort to go sign the online petition started by Melaw Nakehk’o at. Just over a thousand people have signed up which is not enough. Remember the part of the CRTC mandate that applies to us:Ĭonnect. These activities (regulating Internet, phone, TV, radio) are aimed at ensuring Canadians can connect to quality and innovative communication services at affordable prices. If you are not happy with your monthly Internet bills, signing the petition is one thing you can do. Wakfu is an Action, Adventure Drama, and Fantasy genre-based anime series. ![]() The average duration of episodes has been 22-25 minutes in the previous seasons, it is going to be the same in the next season. The average duration of the episodes will also be similar to the previous seasons. Wakfu season 4 is most probably going to have between 13-20 episodes. As the major part of the story has already been displayed in the previous seasons, the new season shouldn’t be that long either like the 3rd season. Wakfu season 1 and season 2 contained 26 episodes, the season 3 only contained 13 episodes. Wakfu season 4:- Number of episodes and duration of episodesĪs I have mentioned earlier that there is no announcement or hints given by the publishers about the Wakfu season 4 after the delay in April 2021 due to the pandemic, so we have very carefully assumed the number of episodes in the next season of Wakfu. Thus Wakfu season 4 release date was one of the most anticipated news for which fans eagerly awaited.Since, it has been a long time since the release of the last season, even longer than the gap between the 2nd and the 3rd season, many people are expecting the Wakfu season 4 to release between 2022 July – 2023 September. There has been an eager waiting period between Netflix and Ankama Animations for the show’s final season to be released in response to fan demand. Wakfu, the much-anticipated French animated series, will finally be available on Netflix to stream, and we can’t wait to see what this series has to offer. In addition, Netflix has also made all three previous seasons available on their platform. It seems that Wakfu season 4 will get its premiere on Netflix shortly, as per the reports. There is no doubt that you must be wondering where you can find the full series to watch. We have provided the link for the trailer below, so those who have not seen it yet can check it out.Įverything about this series has been discussed in detail, including the Wakfu season 4 release date. 12/11/2023 0 Comments Horizon forbidden west gameplay![]() Rarely has the saying "attack is the best form of defense" been truer, and just as in Zero Dawn these enemies’ bodies are loaded with weak points that allow you to affect the way they fight and change it to your liking. Even the less deadly machines, such as darting Skydrifters and pouncing Scrappers, pose a threat in numbers, and left unchecked they’ll relentlessly unleash attack after attack. Know Your EnemyĪ stealthy approach, laying in wait to silently strike from tall grass, is almost always wise at the start of a fight as you'll likely get into the most trouble when you’re outnumbered. Feelings run high over the course of the lengthy campaign, and while this isn’t anything like the trauma fest of something like The Last of Us Part 2, Forbidden West certainly tugs on the heartstrings. It may seem simple, but subtler techniques (such as a wider lens used during conversations) add a filmic quality to dialogue-heavy scenes, allowing characters to use their bodies to move expressively and convey a wider range of emotion. Massive moments take place in masterfully choreographed cutscenes with swirling camerawork reminiscent of a Tony Scott chase sequence. On the topic of the loud parts, while Zero Dawn may have been action-packed, its presentation never felt nearly as cinematic as this. It’s a pleasant change when compared to the often-lonely adventure of Zero Dawn. The supporting cast does a great job of keeping you company, and Varl – an old friend of Aloy’s from the Nora tribe who is with you from the opening moments – in particular, provides warm companionship throughout and brings the best out of Aloy. ![]() Part of that is due to the fact that Forbidden West is far more concerned about the world as a whole and the people surrounding Aloy than Zero Dawn ever was from early on it becomes apparent that the whole lesson of the story for Aloy is allowing some of the pressure she places on herself to be carried by others. ![]() Though side questing could have been more imaginative, its missions are compelling thanks to a central mystery that led me down a deep rabbit hole to a genuinely surprising - and moving - conclusion. Its main activity - combat - is extremely satisfying thanks to the varied design and behaviors of machine-creatures that roam its lands, each of which needs to be taken down with careful consideration. ![]() While there are still a decent amount of audio logs to find, the quality of them is much improved, and more importantly, this time around all of the story’s key moments are told through engaging cutscenes that contain their fair share of character-centric drama without dwelling on it long enough to overstay their welcome.Īcross a vast and beautiful open world, Horizon Zero Dawn juggles many moving parts with polish and finesse. With the stage now firmly set, though, Forbidden West is able to confidently stride over the deep exposition potholes that Zero Dawn sometimes fell victim to, (mostly) mercifully avoiding lengthy information dumps in favour of a more elegantly told tale. Horizon Zero Dawn tackled some big, ambitious ideas, but sometimes stumbled when it came to conveying them in an engaging way, with an over-reliance on audio and text files found in lifeless labs and abandoned offices. Guerrilla has definitely learned a lesson this time around when it comes to finding a balance between worldbuilding and telling a coherent story. That journey isn't a short one my playthrough (which was done at a fairly relaxed pace that included completing a healthy amount of side missions) took around 32 hours. Its twists and turns are numerous and had me guessing how it would turn out right until the end of Aloy's journey. Once again, Aloy is on a time-sensitive mission packed with mystery, not least in its characters, many of whom are firmly established in the grey area between friend or foe. The result is a fantastic open-world action-adventure that, despite falling into a couple of its old habits, emphatically delivers on the promises made five years ago. There’s a genuine sense of exploration and loads of completely involving lore behind it all to uncover. Horizon Forbidden West does this with aplomb, building on the already impressive foundations of 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn to tell a thrilling story full of familiar explosive combat against elaborate robotic foes and blockbuster action sequences, but also adding Witcher-like settlements to the map and filling it out with great side quests. In other words, they take a solid base and combine with new elements to create more advanced bonds, much like an alloy… or in this case, an Aloy. They all improve what came before them by conjuring up exciting new gameplay mechanics, developing characters through engaging stories, and switching up mission design to offer variety. Successful sequels build on their predecessors in multiple ways – think Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and Uncharted 2. 12/11/2023 0 Comments Ncaa brackets for 2021As well, the Big Ten played a conference-only schedule this season, which made it quite difficult for the selection committee to evaluate the at-large bid cases for Big Ten teams.
